Data Protection Statement

Last updated: July 10, 2025

TechYenthra Technologies Private Limited ('we', 'our', 'us') is committed to responsible and lawful handling of personal data. This Data Protection Statement explains how we comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

01

Our Role

Depending on the context, TechYenthra Technologies may act as a Data Controller (when we collect and use personal data for our own purposes, such as processing enquiries from our website) or as a Data Processor (when we process personal data on behalf of our clients as part of delivering software services). In both roles, we are committed to handling data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

02

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data only when we have a valid legal basis: (1) Consent — where you have given us explicit consent to process your data. (2) Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfil a contractual obligation. (3) Legitimate Interests — where we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights. (4) Legal Obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law.

03

Data We Collect and Process

We collect and process: contact information (name, email, phone number, company); project and business information shared during engagement; technical data from website interactions (IP address, browser, page views); and communication records. We do not process special categories of sensitive personal data unless explicitly required and consented to.

04

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Contact form data is retained for a maximum of 3 years unless a business relationship is established. Client project data is retained for the duration of the contract plus 2 years. Financial records are retained as required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

05

Data Subject Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights: (1) Right to Access — request a copy of your personal data. (2) Right to Correction — request correction of inaccurate data. (3) Right to Erasure — request deletion of your data where lawful. (4) Right to Restrict Processing — request that we limit how we use your data. (5) Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. (6) Right to Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@techyenthra.com.

06

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside India or the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or transfers to jurisdictions with adequate data protection laws. Our cloud infrastructure providers maintain data centres in approved regions and comply with applicable data transfer regulations.

07

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where required. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to individuals, we will also notify affected individuals without undue delay. We maintain a Data Breach Register and conduct post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
